An informal group of citizens who love the Rockford Park District and have passion for transformative power of parks, facilities, and programs.
Mission
A citywide network of people who CHAMPION Parks and Recreation in the community and assist in relationship building for the Rockford Park District.
Purpose of Park Champions
To educate citizens about the importance and value of the Rockford Park District, and the benefits to the overall community, including the economic impact of having a world class park district in our backyard.
